We are looking for an experienced and passionate Full Stack Developer who has a strong understanding of the latest web tools and technologies related to both front end and back end development.This person will work closely with our various portfolio company teams to develop new highly visible products as well as deliver internal solutions. Projects include but are not limited to custom build outs, system integrations, work-flow automations, and data analysis. It is important that the person in this role have prior end-to-end technical project management experience, demonstrating a history of on-time delivery and a positive “get-things-done” attitude.



Other duties may be assigned

  • Developing responsive web applications that work well across multiple devices

  • Manage eCommerce platforms and implement back-end system integrations, both off the shelf and custom extensions.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement custom designs.

  • Implement new, exciting features and refine existing features

  • Data-informed product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc.

  • Set up, configure, and maintain a Linux Hosting environment

  • Debugging and optimize web applications.



  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or proven equivalent work experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Ruby, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript development.

  • Experience building on Heroku

  • Familiarity with cutting-edge methods, web standards, and open source tech used in website development

  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience with Jira or other Bug Tracking systems

  • Experience using AJAX and RESTful development patterns

  • Familiarity with modern web based UI technologies and various javascript based UI frameworks

  • Excellent understanding of MVC patterns for web applications

  • Experience with cross-browser quirks

  • Excels at operating in an fast-paced, startup environment
